On the second volume of Teffi’s "Humorous verse"

Abstract

In the article Teffi’s stories from the book “Yumoristicheskiye raskazy” (1911) are analyzed and discussed. The heroes are people, her contemporaries, who do not know true love, do not love children, do not find pleasure in working, and take advantage of the achievements of others. The issue refers to features of character that people have been developing for years.
