As it is well acknowledged the discourse of Soviet literature was created by a well-organized ideological machine and it is not a homogeneous phenomenon. In many texts of that period individual exposition of creative freedom takes place through double coding. Their decoding clearly shows the difficulties and conflicting character of the creative process in the epoch of totalitarianism. Demarcation of soviet and national mentality will enable to observe several concepts revealed in Georgian and Russian poetry that either isolate or link literary texts existing in the same flow and period of the history. In this respect the relation of several concepts of Nikolai Rubtsov’s lyrics towards Georgian literary discourse is of note. The paper analyses the concepts of sleeping, the moon, the peaceful homeland, winter and etc. In Russian and Georgian literature anti-Soviet, nonconformist discourse is one of the most important issues. It creates a strong current of national literatures of the Soviet period that can be clearly visualized though such type of studies.
