The article’s basic objective is multi-factorial motivation of linguistic innovation, which can be proved particularly in the so called texts created by the new media. The multifactorial aspect results from perceiving a language as a dynamic system that does not develop linearly and is not prone to simple optimization. The following factors are mentioned as those influencing this innovation: reading process changes (in connection with a changed status of a text), the interface causing asynchrony of a text record in the new media, information load of written language elements as well as a problem of distinctiveness in innovative recording. Even though a text is of a reconnaissance-like nature, it is focused on methodological
issues connected with several humanistic prerequisites. Apparently, paying attention to the multi-factorial aspect of the innovation may contribute to a different perception of the evaluation of linguistic facts that are present in the new media.
